Despite RICOCHET being implemented last December, cheaters unfortunately still seem to be present in Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific, and things certainly aren’t going to get any better.
Indeed, between the various weapon bugs and glitches, but also the perpetual presence of cheaters, Battle Royale players saturatewhich is normal, but what could unfold in the coming weeks is beyond anything we could have imagined, and could end the title for good.
A group of hackers hacked Nvidia, the end of serenity in Warzone Pacific?
As you just read in our title, a group of hackers has indeed hacked the graphics card giant, Nvidia. Responding on behalf of Lapsus$ ransomwarethis small team of hackers managed to gain access to the company’s source code and confidential data.
Therefore, according to AntiCheatPD on Twitter, they now have the ability to sign their cheat with an Nvidia certificate, which means that cheat software would no longer be detected by the means put in place by the various studios to counter it.
The end of Warzone Pacific?
You will tell us, what is the relationship with Warzone Pacific? Well, with such a cheating practice of being able to put an Nvidia certificate on cheat software, so that means thata title like Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific will see the number of cheaters increase significantlyjust making the gaming experience totally despicable with players able to headshot you without even seeing you.
These new softwares will indeed be totally undetectable by RICOCHET, and that is the problem. If RICOCHET does not see cheat software, the cheater will be able to play without worrying about getting caught or seeing his account get banned.
Speaking directly to our colleagues from Dexertothe hacker group said that “leaky certificates are blocked by anti-cheats, but in this case, a certificate like Nvidia is probably a challenge since everyone has it on their machine as legitimate software“.
We can only hope that Nvidia or RICOCHET finds a solution to this problem which could just completely destroy our Battle Royale.
