Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific players are asking the developers to upgrade the just nerfed Automaton.
Warzone Pacific & Vanguard Season 1 finally arrived on December 8 after months of waiting. We now have the ability to play on a brand new map that replaces Verdansk: Caldera. You can also use the new weapons recently arrived in Vanguard.
While most players are still trying to figure out what truly meta weapons are, one of the more powerful weapons was the Automaton Assault Rifle. But the developers decided to reduce its potency to make room for new weapons, which ultimately made the weapon almost unplayable in Call of Duty’s Battle Royale.
The Automaton is a relatively accurate and powerful assault rifle.
Thanks to YouTuber TheXclusiveAce, we can discover the new recoil pattern for the Automaton compared to other weapons.
With this huge setback, many players now find this weapon unplayable. It is now very complicated to manage this weapon, especially at long distance.
It is also on Reddit that a player complained about the new version of the Automaton.

In the comments, one player has spoken out and thinks the developers have gone too far with this nerf. So it surely wouldn’t be surprising if Raven Software returned to the Automaton in a future update to balance it out.
