Warzone Pacific: January 26 Patch Note, crash fixes


Despite rumors regarding the development of Call of Duty: Warzone 2, Raven Software don’t forget though Call of Duty: Warzone Pacificand deploys, as it had planned, some updates before the launch of season 2.

This season 2 has indeed been postponed because of the many problems present in the Battle Royale and in Call of Duty Vanguard. Therefore, it is therefore not surprising to see small updates appear in order to rectify the situation before the launch of this one which will therefore take place on February 14th.

On the program of this update, the resolution of several problems with in particular that of crashes on consolesbut also an issue with free gear drops not appearing in the normal Battle Royale mode.

BUGS FIXES

  • Fixed collision issues with various Caldera elements allowing players to mine, stare at, or shoot through them.
  • Fixed an instability issue when double pressing the Xbox home button during gameplay.
  • Fixed an instability issue when typing non-ASCII characters (eg ©, ®, ™, ∅).
  • Fixed an additional issue causing the menu screen to flicker.
  • Fixed an issue allowing players to respawn via buyout with some of their original gear.
  • Fixed an issue causing extra images to appear in various Shop previews and/or bundle purchases.
  • Fixed an issue causing Live Matches to crash.
  • Fixed an issue that caused players to fall into a bottomless pit of despair when trying to take a dip in the pool.
  • Fixed an issue where the second Free Gear Drop Public Event was not occurring in the main Battle Royale modes.

While Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific players are getting extra days to enjoy Battle Royale Season 1 and Call of Duty Vanguard, here’s Raven Software dropping some hints about what changes are coming for Season 2.
