Even if last March 2 Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific had benefited from an update that came nerf the XM4 of Black Ops Cold War, with on the other hand adjustments for the Vanguard Royale mode, the update of this March 3 brings all the details of Rebirth Iron Trials, as well as certain corrections.
As a reminder, Rebirth Iron Trials is available since March 3 at 7 p.m. French time, and is often compared by players as a competitive mode. In it, the life points are indeed more important, and certain uses of killstreaks or deadly equipment are prohibited.
As you will have understood, those who play Rebirth Iron Trials are not there to laugh but to really fight it out.
Warzone Pacific March 3 Update Patch Note
FASHION
○ Vanguard Royale
Adjustments detailed in our March 2 patch notes will go live today with the playlist update at noon PST. That said, we made one final change:
- Drones are now available at Buy Stations for $6,000.
○ Rebirth Iron Trials
Rebirth Iron Trials makes a glorious return today as part of the March 3 Playlist Update, this time on Rebirth Island!
At its core, Rebirth Iron Trials is a Battle Royale-like game mode – the last team standing wins, circle collapse shrinks the playing area to promote engagements, and those who die earlier in the game stand a chance of respawn if they win a duel in the Gulag on Rebirth Island.
However, Iron Trials brings many fundamental changes to this traditional Battle Royale formula. All of them are meant to give players the chance to prove they’re true elite Operators – here’s what they actually are:
General
○ Match Duration and Circle Collapse: The duration of rounds has been adjusted to reflect the scale of the Isle of Rebirth map and increased for game pacing.
○ Loadouts: there are no free loadouts. Those who want to use their custom class and have access to perks will need to purchase one at full price:

Only ATVs are available. - Shopping stations
Elite Operators are known to be high rollers. The Buy Stations have increased their prices accordingly - Armor plates
$1,500 to $2,000 - Gas mask
$3,000 to $4,000 - Scatter Strike
$3,000 to 4,000 - precision strike
$3,500 to 4,500 - Automatic recovery
$4,000 to $5,000 - Drone
$4,000 to $6,000 - Loadout marker
$7,500 to $10,000 on Rebirth Island - Specialist Token

○ Money
The amount of money kept in case of death has been increased from 20 to 30%. This will allow players to keep more of their hard-earned cash.
○ Melee
Melee Finisher damage removed. Settle your accounts with lead.
Operators
- Base Health: Compared to a normal match, the base health of all players has been increased from 100 to 250.
- Health Regeneration: Regeneration delay increased from 5 seconds to 7 seconds, and regeneration per second reduced from 120 per second to 40. It may be a good idea for players to reconsider their preferences for Perks and equipment.
- Starting Gear: Players arrive with a Top Break (VG) and a Sawtooth (VG).
loot
- General: The item pool for Supply Boxes and Field Found Items has been significantly changed from what is seen in standard play.
- Base Attachments: Common weapons start with an attachment, primarily to provide their maximum magazine size.
- Rarity spawn rates: Epic and Legendary weapons are now harder to find. Players will need to open a few more boxes than usual to find what they are looking for.
- Killstreaks: Drop rates have been reduced. It’s time to stop spamming drones and start testing your senses.
- Silver Spawns: Large piles of silver are rarer. Players will have to keep looking for money if they want to afford a loadout.
- Field improvements: no dead silence. No stopping power rounds. Period.
Equipment
- Sniper Rifles: A single headshot with a sniper rifle can only down an enemy if they are within 30 yards. Snipers will be able to adapt their strategy accordingly and continue to inflict deadly damage at long ranges with precise follow-up shots.
- Stun Grenade: The duration of the stun effect is reduced by 50%.
- Medical Syringes: Health regeneration rate reduced by 50%. On direct non-incendiary damage dealt by another player (splash damage from tactical gear does not count), increased health regeneration effects from the medical syringe are negated and standard health regeneration begins, which can be interrupted by any source of damage. Additionally, the movement speed bonus gained when using a medical syringe has been reduced from 8% to 3%.
Gulag
- Loadouts: No akimbo. No semi-automatic or fully automatic shotguns. Limited selection of tactical equipment. You have to settle for the essentials and the will to survive.
- Redeploy: If players survive their Gulag match, they will redeploy with the remaining gear from that fight. Pay attention to these resources.
Team size
- Duos: We want players to really feel the impact of the increased TTK. You can only choose one teammate…so choose wisely and watch your back.
Unique reward in the form of an animated business card
Winners of the Rebirth Iron Trial will receive an exclusive new animated calling card to show off their prowess.
BUGS FIXES
- Fixed an issue where the unlock criteria progress bar for certain weapon attachments and camos would display alt text.
- Fixed an issue preventing the popup icon for some game settings from appearing in the menu: affected settings are brightness, type of color blindness, audio mix, hit marker sound effects, button layout and the preset stick layout.
- Fixed an issue where the total money collected on the Player Dashboard was not aligned.
- Fixed an issue in private matches preventing the helicopter on top of Peak from taking off properly.
- Fixed an issue causing placeholder descriptions to appear on various Business Cards.
- Fixed the rarity tag on various Blueprints and Calling Cards.
- Fixed an issue preventing field buffs from working correctly while holding a Gas Can.
