Call of Duty: Warzone players would like an Overwatch feature to come to the Battle Royale to prevent cheaters.
If you have already played Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific for a few months, it is almost certain that you have already come across cheats. Hacking has been a problem in Call of Duty Battle Royale for a long time now. And even with the arrival of the RICOCHET anti-cheat system, we don’t see a real difference for the moment.
Since Warzone is a free game, cheaters do not hesitate to create new accounts after being banned for the first time to start again and again. This is why the community explained that it would take a system similar to that of Overwatch to discourage certain cheaters from recreating accounts endlessly.
In Overwatch, all accounts must reach Level 25 before they can play Ranked mode. Even though Warzone doesn’t have a competitive mode, players believe a similar system could be implemented so that new accounts can’t dive straight into public games.
A Reddit post by “WolfHoundJP” explained how Raven Software could do this so Tier 1 accounts can’t ruin games with their hacks.
“Each new account should play in unranked games until they reach a certain level (50) or complete 3 hours of play, hear me out…”
Most of the cheaters you’ll encounter on Warzone will only be at low levels, as they create nearly endless accounts. This system could be handy to discourage a good number of them, but it remains to be seen whether Raven Software has really planned such a system or not to counter cheaters a little more.
