Warzone: RICOCHET already on vacation, cheaters are dancing

Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific players are tired of encountering cheats ruining their game while the anti-cheat seems ineffective.

Cheating has been a plague on Warzone since the battle royale’s release in March 2020. And while developers have often been quick to respond to this issue with anti-cheat measures as well as waves of bans, the community feels that’s still not enough to get rid of cheaters for good.

With the RICOCHET anti-cheat helping to remove a lot of cheaters from the game, there are recent reports of the situation continuing to get worse and this is infuriating the community.

Activision

Activision is always looking to mitigate the effect of hackers in Vanguard and Warzone.

RICOCHET, Warzone’s anti-cheat, easily detects software and apps that players may be using to cheat, allowing the security team to respond fairly quickly. Even if it is effective in finding hackers, some still manage to slip through the cracks to ruin your games.

It was Reddit user “bwash407” who shared a clip where he can be seen watching a player instantly lock onto numerous targets across the map. We can clearly attest that he is a cheater.

“RICOCHET must be on vacation this week…”

And that’s not the only report we’ve seen this week about cheating that seems to be on the rise over the past few days on Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific. You yourself may have noticed the rise of cheaters lately.

So what are the developers of the RICOCHET anti-cheat doing? In any case, we hope that this situation can be restored as soon as possible for an enjoyable gaming experience.
