While the year 2022 has not started auspiciously for Warzone players who have to deal with numerous bugs on a daily basis, not to mention the multiple errors that prevent them from accessing the battle royale, now a new bug has been added to the list, completely blocking the game on consoles.
The mid-season update rolled out on January 12 on Warzone, giving players an influx of new content, weapon balancing as well as multiple fixes.
However, despite this wave of fixes, the situation in the battle royale is far from having improved, quite the contrary. As everyone knows, who says new patch always says new bugs…
Since the last patch, the list of bugs and errors continues to grow, wearing down players’ patience more than ever. The latest is a bug on console, which prevents players from accessing the battle royale.
Nothing is going right on Warzone anymore…
A player reported the issue on Reddit, stating that the game crashes regularly shortly after launching. If the player concerned is on Xbox, in the comments of other players have come forward, revealing to suffer the same problem on PlayStation.
Obviously in most cases, when Warzone launches, players arrive on the screen where we see the RICOCHET logo, and they stay there indefinitely.
By most accounts, it started after the mid-season patch rolled out. Since console players keep throwing the game over and over again, until they finally manage to get into the battlefield, which can sometimes take quite a while.
Some players seem to have found a solution to this particularly frustrating problem, but it doesn’t seem to work for everyone. According to them, “uninstalling all game add-ons except the base game” may be enough to fix the problem.
If that doesn’t work, unfortunately you’ll just have to wait for the developers to take matters into their own hands.
