Warzone Pacific Season 1 breathed new life into Call of Duty battle royale. But a constant series of bugs and glitches ruined the experience for many. The situation has become so unstable that some Xbox players can’t even launch the game.
Tired of Verdansk and a stagnant meta, many Warzone players have been waiting for Caldera to arrive. However, the journey hasn’t been smooth sailing, as the update has introduced some of the most annoying glitches Warzone has ever seen.
The Warzone developers have confirmed that they are working hard to get the game back on track. Despite this, for gamers Xbox is far from satisfied. Indeed, an update completely blocked some Xbox players, even preventing them from launching the game.
An action-packed Warzone experience for Xbox players
Unfortunately, Xbox players seem to have been harmed by Warzone’s Pacific update. A bug requires, for example, Xbox players to have a Gold subscription to play, they also lost access to the 120 FPS mode. What’s more, some can’t even launch the game anymore.
He’s the player u/Darknesgamer36 who shared his experience on video. It shows that after passing the screen “Connecting to Xbox Live”, Warzone restarts on its own and has to do it several times.
Darknesgamer36 is not alone, several players say they have encountered the exact same problem.
Other Xbox players have reported different, but equally frustrating issues. They said that the game constantly crashes, their weapons become invisible, and they can’t join their friends.
One user said it took “literally 56 minutes to get into a game” and the problem reappeared as soon as they returned to the main menu.
However, there seems to be a temporary solution: do not touch the Xbox button on the controller when Warzone is open. The Warzone devs have actually acknowledged this on their Trello board, saying they’re investigating an issue where “double-tapping the Xbox home button during gameplay can cause instability.”
Despite this trick, it definitely won’t help players who can’t even access the game. Hopefully, Xbox players will soon have the same experience as everyone else.
