Warzone’s Vanguard Royale mode underwent significant changes in the March 2 update which changed the battle royale’s TTK.
The Warzone developers are constantly striving to improve the overall experience of the game. The Warzone update on March 2 took player feedback into account and made changes to the Bren as well as the gameplay of the Vanguard Royale mode.
The specific changes are to overall player health, while TTK adjustments have been made to make playing on Caldera less taxing.
Major changes for Warzone’s Vanguard Royale mode
Ever since Vanguard weapons made their appearance in Warzone, we’ve seen them dominate the meta. Indeed most of them kill incredibly fast. Many players have complained about how quickly these weapons kill, giving them no time to react.
It looks like the devs have addressed these complaints by increasing player base health from 100 to 150. The devs commented on this change in the patch notes: “We agree with the feedback that Time-to-Kill (TTK) has exceeded the sweet spot and hope this adjustment will improve player experience and feeling.”
Max health for players with full armor plates will now be 300 instead of 250, helping to counter fast TTK from Vanguard weapons and initial reaction to this major change has been positive.
Oh my god from tomorrow Vanguard Royale might become the ultimate mode!

In addition to lowering the TTK of weapons, the developers have also brought back drones. However, drones will not be as accessible since they will cost $9000 at buy stations.
Raising the price of drones without eliminating them completely is a good compromise. This should make it a rewarding item for those who gather enough money.
