Ever since the Warzone Season 3 update, a number of high-profile players and streamers have become convinced that aim assist has been secretly nerfed.
The recent Season 3 update saw some of the biggest changes to Warzone yet. Many adjustments have been made to weapon balancing, new slots and weapons have arrived, and the gas mask animation has finally been fixed.
While the patch note for this new season was extremely extensive, detailing all these changes and more, a potential aim assist nerf seems to have been omitted from it.
And while the aim assist debate still rages on after all these years, some believe the Warzone devs recently changed its effect in Season 3, without telling anyone.
One of the first to point out this change is JoeWo, who asked on Twitter: “Am I mistaken or has the Aim Assist been nerfed?”
Am I absolutely FADED or did Aim Assist get nerfed?

And quickly, other players started to have the same opinion as him.
WarsZ, a British Warzone streamer, said aim assist was “weird“.
Is it just me or is aim assist feeling weird?

Meanwhile, New York Subliners streamer Swishem said that “aim assist is non-existent in this update“.

In March 2022, Vanguard developers Sledgehammer Games collaborated with Raven, claiming there were aim assist issues in both CoD games.
While Vanguard’s aim assist was fixed at the time of the announcement, Raven pointed out that a fix will be coming to Warzone “in the coming weeks.”
It’s unclear if this is the fix that Raven has already announced or a completely different issue. To be continued…
