As if that were not enough, in the eyes of many players the audio of the battle royale leaves something to be desired… The audio problems on Caldera had caused a wave of dissatisfaction at the launch of Season 1, if the situation seems improved since through successive updates, the game’s audio is still far from unanimous.

The arrival of Season 3 brought a host of changes to the battle royale, but improved in-game audio was not one of them.
Sure, the audio issues aren’t as glaring as they used to be, but they’re still on the list of improvements players want. After all, in a battle royale, it is crucial to be able to hear footsteps and different sound signals correctly.
Players have long complained that Warzone’s audio isn’t up to snuff, but complaints that had relatively subsided during Season 2 have skyrocketed with the arrival of Season 3, with some claiming that the situation has worsened.
Multiple posts have appeared on Reddit asking the developers to improve the game’s sound.
“I see a lot of valid reviews on this game, but I don’t understand how the audio isn’t, by far, the biggest issue people have with Warzone”said a player. “A royal bat doesn’t work if the audio doesn’t work. When people rush at you without you hearing a sound (even carefully checking the replay), the game is basically broken. This happens far too often.”
Like many, the player hopes that if not improved in a future season, the audio will be more successful on Warzone 2, allowing all players to be on an equal footing when it comes to hear the opponents. It remains to be seen whether these complaints will attract the attention of the developers.
