Warzone’s CDL Tournament Has Already Been Ruined By Cheaters

While Activision recently set up a $100,000 CDL tournament on Rebirth Island, bringing together the best Warzone players alongside prestigious Call of Duty League talents, the first open qualifiers for this competition began with the presence of cheaters.

As Warzone’s CDL Resurgence main event takes place on April 24, US-based players can attempt to qualify for this great competition through two open stages.

Open Qualifiers officially kicked off on Tuesday, April 5, when the Renaissance – Resurgence playlist landed in Warzone.

But the problem arises now. Since any player can sign up, of course, a lot of cheaters got in during these qualifiers, which of course ruined the games of a lot of honest players.

The CDL tournament on Rebirth Island didn’t get off to the best start.

This is particularly the case of the content creator of New York Subliners, Swishwho recently faced cheating during qualifying before complaining on Twitter.

And this is obviously not the only person concerned. Also on Twitter, Myst3ry Gaming said, “I have never seen so many cheaters in my life as tonight in the CDL Renaissance – Resurgence playlist” before specifying that this tournament was “far from being playable“.

For the moment, the developers have not yet expressed themselves on this first stage of the CDL tournament totally ruined by cheaters.

However, players are hoping for changes in the coming days to make this competition healthy and playable for everyone.
