Warzone’s drop tweaks aren’t unanimous

The April 19 update from Warzone made a significant change to the battle royale, advancing the deployment of the first supply drop, which players didn’t like.

It’s not easy every day to do well in Warzone, but as everyone knows, the best way to improve your chances of survival is to look for Supply Drops that drop across the map in different locations.

If from the start of the game, everyone adopts their own strategy, when the time comes for the first drop, all the players are looking for this boost from the sky. Nevertheless, the April 19 update of Warzone Pacific came to upset the little habits of the players, advancing the deployment of the first drop.

A divisive Warzone update

A Warzone player complained about these changes on Reddit, saying they “ruin the beginning of the game” by allowing enemies quick access to supply drops during the match.

“We land, we kill ground crews. Just as the teams come back from the gulag, the drop drops and they instantly land on it, they pick it up, take us out. Then they camp it out forever”did he declare.

Many players echoed his resentment in the comments, saying it makes the game less fun.

“It’s too fast and it encourages people to just camp for the kills. There’s really no need to loot/make a contract if you get the supply in 30 seconds”said a netizen.

Several players have suggested that the devs make drops appear at a later point in the game.

“I would like it to appear a few minutes later instead of two minutes after the start of the game. I think that would balance things better”said one of them.

With the kickoff of Warzone Season 3 imminent, it remains to be seen whether or not Raven Software will respond to these complaints.
