Warzone’s new Gulag doesn’t appeal to everyone

The Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season 3 update added a new Gulag, but first impressions from the community are mixed.

Each time the design of the Gulag changes, often every season, players are forced to adapt to a new environment in order to survive. It’s always exciting at first to discover something new, but it quickly turned sour in this third season of the Vanguard integration.

The way a Gulag is depicted will often reflect the state of the current season in Warzone, as players are going to be spending quite a bit of time there each game most of the time. Unfortunately players are not extremely happy to find themselves in this new Gulag which does not please many players.

The Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3 Gulag is extremely dark.

The Gulag is a very important part of the Battle Royale, giving players a chance to redeploy on Caldera by winning their 1v1 duel. On Reddit, players gave their rather negative opinion on this new Gulag which does not really resemble those we have known before.

“I talk about it soon enough so far it’s terrible, it’s too much for the campers, too big and with way too many nooks and crannies to hide. Not to mention dark places which are ideal for dark skins. The old Gulag was fine, it wasn’t the best but at least you could see something inside.”

Many other players share this sentiment, but you’ll have to live with it until the end of Season 3 of Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific. Hoping that the next Gulag will be more fun to play in the next season!
