Warzone’s sniper nerf has players furious

Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific players seem extremely disappointed with the nerf to sniper rifles in Season 3.

In Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific Season 3, the developers rolled out all-new content for the battle royale with a ton of changes on the way. On the one hand, players were happy with the many changes made to Caldera, but the weapon nerfs and buffs weren’t very well received.

While some are having fun with the return of the meta with the HDR sniper and heavy sniper rifle dominance, others are genuinely frustrated with these changes coming to change all of their habits.

call of duty

The Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3 Gulag is extremely dark.

In the patch notes, the devs made the following weapons no longer able to kill players with a headshot:

  • Rytec AMR (Modern Warfare)
  • Dragunov (Modern Warfare)
  • M82 (Black Ops Cold War)

Even though the weapons listed above weren’t actually in the meta, some players were enjoying playing with these weapons, but it got even more complicated after the nerf.

“Raven Software, what have you done with my Rytec? Why can’t a 20mm explosive bullet kill a player in the head at this distance? Is this a joke?”

It has become really hard to perform with sniper rifles in Season 3 of Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific, but players will have to get used to it for many weeks due to the decisions of Raven Software, the developers of the game.

You have to know how to adapt to trends, to the meta, and some sniper rifles are now more suitable than others and you have to accept that!
