We didn’t have to wait very long to hear from Xiaomi. On the run for a few days, the new Xiaomi Watch S1 Active will be formalized tomorrow at an event that will also allow the manufacturer to launch its new Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro worldwide. Two devices that we already know since they were formalized in China at the very end of last year.
Anyway, the Xiaomi Watch S1 Active will not be a revolution for the brand. It should indeed take up most of the characteristics of the “classic” Xiaomi Watch S1, also unveiled at the end of December, but with a new, more adventurous design. At least that’s what the marketing visuals shared in early March by the specialized site 91Mobiles suggested.
A new S1 for lovers of outdoor activities
As we indicated, this new version of Xiaomi’s connected tocante could notably benefit from a more robust dial and increased autonomy for trekking or hiking, for example. Xiaomi’s invitation (below) also seems to confirm it, the Watch S1 Active would also bet on a silicone strap more suitable for sports than the elegant leather strap of the Watch S1 “Classic”.

This invitation also reveals the different colors of this bracelet. It would be available in at least 6 colors: white, blue, black, green, yellow and red. Note that three of these colors correspond to the visual that had previously leaked.
If we ignore the final specifications of this new Xiaomi Watch S1 Active for the moment, we should find the 1.43-inch Amoled screen (466 x 466 pixels) of the Watch S1, as well as a battery of 470mAh. We will have to wait until tomorrow to find out more about the technical details of this tocante, but also to find out its price. As a reminder, the Watch S1 was announced in China from 1099 yuan, or 152 euros.
