we are beautiful in makeup or in pajamas

Arrived straight from Tik Tok, the #BussItChallenge begins to invade all social networks. A challenge to celebrate your body in all these states, taken up in a thousand ways.

Web challenges are nothing new, and dance-based ones are being emulated on TikTok. However, here's a new one that caught our attention and made us want to try it out: the #BussItChallenge.

The basic principle is simple but effective. The #BussItChallenge soundtrack: the song Buss it, by Texan rapper Erica Banks, released in 2020. On the first notes resonates a sample of Hot In Here, hit by rapper Nelly dating from 2002. It is on this precise passage that the participants film themselves by sketching a few movements in their confinement outfit: from the pilou pajamas to the terry bathrobe through the good old comfortable jogging, all the outfits most compatible with watching a series go there. Then the voice of Erica Banks echoes and there, a change of mood: the participants fall to their knees and we suddenly discover them made-up, in their most elaborate outfits.

A joyful celebration of her body

This is the genius of this challenge: in a quarter of a second, we go from all to all. These videos show people at ease, who present themselves in all their facets: confos or pimpé.e.s, but always on top. All bodies are present, and on the fashion side, there are many inspirations to draw for your future evenings!
Creativity is at the rendezvous in the staging. For some, it is even an opportunity for a mother-daughter dance moment, to pay tribute to her good genes!

The participants, mostly women, many of them African-American, move to celebrate the pride of having this body and to experience the joy of dancing despite social restrictions. Obviously, as with any challenge where women celebrate their bodies, the reviews were not long in coming. Proof, if needed, of the subversive potential of these self-assessment videos. We will also note excellent diversions, with objects that twerk or even drawn versions.

Now it's your turn: it's time to bring out your favorite evening outfit! Small tip for the realization: film the two parts in two separate videos that you then compile on TikTok. First the one in rather relaxed attire, which ends when you descend to the floor, then the one in formal attire which begins when you are already squatting. There's just !
