Kad Mérad and Olivier Baroux reprise their roles as Bullit and Riper in “Pamela Rose, the series”, broadcast on Canal+. Together, the actors remember the creation of these cult characters and explain that they form their bond for life.
Pamela Rose, the series continues its broadcast on Canal+, this Monday, November 27 from 9:09 p.m. In this fiction, Kad Mérad and Olivier Baroux bring back to life their cult characters Bullit and Riper, created by the duo of comedians thirty years ago, when they appeared on the radio to do sketches.
“A sketch among many others”
But despite these three decades having passed, the actors still get as much pleasure from slipping into the poorly tailored costumes of failed FBI agents. Olivier Baroux and Kad Mérad confided this during a press conference: “We made Bullit and Riper and we visualized them so they were born on the radio, like that. It was one sketch among many others, like Kamoulox or Jean-Michel.“
“But these, Bullit and Riper, have been there for thirty years. Fortunately, because Pamela Rose is our link. It’s both of our cords. We are connected for life! And then it’s so pleasant to play, to write, to produce… Do you realize?“
And the least we can say is that the enthusiasm of Kad Mérad and Olivier Baroux is infectious! Pamela Rose, the series (which was not at all filmed where you think!) perfectly reconnects with the spirit of the franchise films, while modernizing it.
Winning return to series for Bullit and Riper
Bullit and Riper’s investigation continues this evening… In the first episode of the evening offered from 9:09 p.m. on Canal+, Adam Blake overheard a conversation between our two heroes during which they discussed their responsibility in the death by Tom Willing.
The assistant takes advantage of this situation to blackmail his superiors. After questioning boxer Kimba, Riper and Bullit discover that the two murdered YouTubers knew each other well. For her part, Jessica Carson continues her investigation into Willing’s disappearance…
Finally, in the second part which opens at Sarah Clark’s home, Bullit and Riper are knocked out and tied up by the masked killer who has just attacked the young woman! The two agents wake up in the cellar of the house where there is an open helium bottle.
Rita’s father asks Bullit to help him find a man he is looking for for his illicit affairs. Riper sets out to track the van that was in front of Sarah Clark’s home… To be continued in Pamela Rose, the series.
