All good things have an end. Laurent Ruquier can thus testify to this with his departure from the show We are live on France 2, broadcast every Saturday evening. The very first broadcast aired on September 26, 2020, and Laurent Ruquier was joined by Léa Salamé during the second season, in 2021.

Since then, the accomplice duo has not let go and loved to debate with their guests, especially about politics, but also about music, cinema, and so on. It was thus with a heavy heart that the two acolytes left each other last night. Léa Salamé will take over the show alone from the start of the next school year.

I’ll meet you, among other things, for Children of TV and other projects we’re working on, then next season you will obviously be able to follow the program with Léa Salamé to whom I wish good luck.“ spoke the presenter.

Léa Salamé, meanwhile, did not take long to speak in order to speak in turn. The latter was more explicit and raved about her Saturday night partner: “I think that in the name of millions of French people, we can tell you that you marked the Saturday evenings of the French people, and that you marked the era too, Laurent Ruquier. There have been so many TV moments, social debates with you, you have highlighted hundreds of artists who were not known, and I know that it is your pleasure to highlight artists who are unknown, you have given them a chance.
