The first Star Academy eliminatory bonus aired this Saturday, October 22. During this one, three candidates who were a little too sure of themselves were quickly put in their place by Michael Goldman.
On May 3, 2022, great news was announced to TF1 viewers. After several years of absence, the show star Academy has made a comeback, much to the delight of fans of the program. The castle opened its doors to 13 candidates on October 15th. This Saturday, October 22, the first playoff bonus was broadcast. The 13 new students put on a string of performances and a trio was particularly noticed. This was composed of Lea, Anisha and Enola. Young women performed the title I’ll never love again by Lady Gaga. Very satisfied with themselves, the three candidates praised their performance. “I felt like Celine Dion“, affirmed Enola. For her part, Léa imagined herself to be Beyoncé and Anisha had opted for Lara Fabian. Comparisons which immediately made Michael Goldman react. The new director was not very amused and he wished to make them back down.”My nature at this stage would be to say bravo to them because the painting was magnificent and the performance was very good, but the truth is that, all the same, we are not yet at the level of Celine Dion, Lara Fabian and Beyoncé“, he declared, without language of wood. “Back to reality“, continued Nikos Aliagas before giving the floor to the director. “Well, school is for that so I hope they will have that level in a month“, he assured then. Star Academy: who is the first candidate to be eliminated?
After an evening rich in twists and emotions, three candidates found themselves in the hot seat. The first was saved by the public and, for the two remaining ones, the choice fell to the students who designated who would return to the castle alongside them. The three nominees were Julien, Ahcène and Amissa. It was first Julien who was saved by the public but, following the vote of the other candidates, there was a perfect equality. He was therefore forced to decide between his two comrades and to make a choice, which he assured would be very difficult for him. “They both kill, what do you expect me to do? I can not do that“, he said. After thinking for a few minutes, Julien sang Bohemian Rhapsody, Queen’s song and performed by Ahcène during this prime. The young man quickly understood that he was saved and he took Amisse, eliminated, in his arms. A very moving moment for both of them.
