After the remarks of the deputy RN Grégoire de Fournas in the National Assembly, during a speech by the deputy LFI Carlos Martens Bilongo, the deputies voted in favor of the exclusion of the deputy RN. For 15 days, the latter will not be able to attend the Assembly. A relief for Carlos Martens Bilongo.

“Let them go back to Africa!” This is the sentence shouted this Thursday in the hemicycle of the National Assembly by the deputy RN Grégoire de Fournas, while the deputy LFI Carlos Martens Bilongo asked a question to the governments, on the conditions of migrants crossing the Mediterranean Sea . An ambiguous invective, and considered racist, which angered a large part of the deputies present during the session of Questions to the government.

This Friday, for the second time since 1958, the deputies expressed themselves in favor of the sanction proposed by the office of the Bourbon palace. Thus, extremely rare, Grégoire de Fournas will be censured for two weeks and he will be deprived of half of his parliamentary allowance, for two months.

Grégoire de Fournas absent during the vote

“My group and I are relieved,” says LFI deputy Carlos Martens Bilongo at the microphone of Europe 1. “It’s the maximum sanction and it’s a good thing because that’s what we want, and it was given unanimously”, he continues. Unanimously ? Not really since no RN MP voted for this temporary exclusion of their colleague. For her part, Marine Le Pen concedes a clumsiness but denounces a political trial based on the lies of rebellious France.

The principal concerned, Grégoire de Fournas, was absent to avoid the unflattering image of the ushers, taking him out of the hemicycle. On social networks, he assumes this sentence and says he is totally innocent in the face of this great injustice.
