“We can do it differently”: ARD starts climate series with Sebastian Vettel, Anke Engelke and Co.

“We Can Do It Differently” is a new documentary series that features all sorts of A-listers. The six episodes include Anke Engelke, Annette Frier, Axel Prahl, Bjarne Mädel and Sebastian Vettel.

The format can be seen as a TV report on Monday (March 20) at 11:35 p.m. on the first, but the runtime is shortened to 90 minutes. “We can also be different” is presented online in the long version. Each episode is 30 minutes long. In the first episode, Anke Engelke, Bjarne Mädel and Sebastian Vettel examine climate-friendly mobility solutions in Hamburg and Zurich.

Climate crisis in the focus of all consequences

In episode two, Annette Frier and Axel Prahl are looking for affordable and sustainable living space. Meanwhile, Anke Engelke looks at how the Stuttgart football stadium is being recycled. Bjarne Mädel is back in the third episode to explore nutrition-related questions with Pheline Roggan and Aurel Mertz.

In episode four, Annette Frier finds a village in Brandenburg where people apparently already live in the future – independent of coal-fired power plants and corporations. Episode five is all about Moore and the last episode reunites Bjarne Mädel and Anke Engelke in a kind of conclusion episode.

If you’re not one of those night owls who still sit in front of the TV late at night, you can watch the more detailed online episodes for two years in the ARD media library. The episodes can also be viewed there before they are broadcast.
