The manufacturer Ecovacs does not seem to want to slow down the pace and will offer three new ranges of robot floor mopping vacuum cleaners in the coming days.
The Ecovacs brand has not been idle in recent months and has presented numerous models of innovative and original robot vacuum cleaners, such as the Deebot X2 Combo, a large station integrating a robot vacuum cleaner and a hand vacuum cleaner for complete cleaning of the house.
Continuing its momentum, the brand has just unveiled three new ranges of robot vacuum cleaners. Two of them are positioned in the high-end sector, with advanced features such as the use of artificial intelligence for moving around the house. The latest range, and this is a surprise, is aimed at smaller budgets, with models whose prices start at 299 euros.
Ecovacs T30S: even more AI to improve floor cleaning
The Ecovacs T30S is the improved version of the Deebot T30, launched just a few weeks ago. This new model still includes a disk format robot vacuum cleaner, with a power of 11,000 Pa, one of the highest seen on consumer robot vacuum cleaners. The brush uses ZeroTangle technology as well as static electricity to prevent hair from tangling.
TrueEdge Adapting Edge Mopping technology provides edge cleaning with 1 millimeter precision, and the Deebot T30S still uses a video sensor to recognize objects and move around the house. The novelty of this model is to be found in the AI Power Brilliance mode, an artificial intelligence system offering, according to the brand, “ smarter decision-making and action skills during housework » when the mops are installed.
In addition to the T30S model, Ecovacs offers two new Combo versions, which additionally include a hand vacuum cleaner and three or four brushes, depending on the version chosen. The Deebot T30S will be available at a price of 999 euros, while the COMBO version will be offered at 1,199 euros, and the Combo Complete version at 1,299 euros. The three robot vacuum cleaners will be on sale from June 25.
Ecovacs X5 Omni: the brand’s most powerful robot
After the Ecovacs X2 Omni, the brand is offering an evolution of its product with this new X5 Omni, which uses the -D format of the previous robot vacuum cleaner, for better passage along walls and in corners.
This latest model features an even more powerful 12,800 Pa motor, a LiDAR sensor, and technology that uses structured light to move through the environment. Ecovacs continues to rely on artificial intelligence with the addition of the Reinforcement Learning 2.0 system, which allows the robot vacuum cleaner to analyze changes in the house, such as the movement of furniture, to optimize its travel time in real time.
The mops are always extendable to reach corners and arranged on a lifting system to avoid wetting the carpets during the cleaning cycle. The OMNI station included in the pack allows cleaning of mops at 70°C (the highest temperature seen on the brand’s products) and drying of the latter. The Ecovacs X5 Omni will be available at a price of 1,099 euros from June 25.
Ecovacs N20: a new entry-level family for small budgets
The manufacturer does not want to lock itself into the premium sector and is also targeting families wanting a small robot vacuum cleaner at prices below 300 euros. This is the objective of the N20 range, which follows on from the N10 range.
This new disk format device incorporates an 8,000 Pa motor, a more than honest value for such an accessible robot vacuum cleaner. It also has a micro-fiber mop for wet washing floors, with a water tank integrated into the device. For navigation, Ecovacs offers a classic system with a laser sensor on the top, and sensors on the front and sides to detect objects. Unlike high-end models, there is no artificial intelligence on the horizon, no recognition of obstacles or automatic lifting of mops.
Here we are on a model which focuses on the essentials, even if the manufacturer cannot help but offer variants at 399 and 499 euros, which also integrate a docking station for automatic dust emptying. The Ecovacs N20 range will also be available on June 25.
