“We can’t wait to do it”: Letitia Wright teases Black Panther 3

Asked by Variety on the Golden Globes red carpet, Letitia Wright – who plays Shuri in Black Panther – teased “Black Panther 3”.

Came to attend the coronation of Angela Bassett – awarded the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – Letitia Wright was interviewed by variety on a possible 3rd installment to Ryan Coogler’s film.

At the question “When will Black Panther 3 get the green light from Marvel?” Shuri’s interpreter replied: “I think it’s already happening“.

She adds : “You know, we just had two great years and everyone came together to support Wakanda Forever. We need a little break, we need to regroup and Ryan [Coogler] must return to his laboratory to reflect. So it’s gonna take a little while, but we’re really looking forward to it.”

Relaunched by the journalist, the new Black Panther states: “I always try to have positive words and thoughts, and I believe good words come true, so I summon a ‘Black Panther 3’, why not?“.

Last November, Ryan Coogler had already mentioned at the microphone of variety the possibility of a third opus, while specifying that it had “definitely no ideaof what he would do next as a writer and director.

Spectators who have seen the film will only be half surprised since the end box already announced the return of Black Panther. But it was still unclear whether this message was referring to the presence of the superheroine in the other Marvel films or to a 3rd opus centered on the character.

This last option should therefore see the light of day.
