It was during an interview in the magazine Télé-Loisirs that the new dancer Pierre Mauduy gave the reasons for the absence of certain key dancers from the show Danse avec les stars.
It is in September that the new season of Dance with the stars started on TF1. On occasion many changes have been noticed. The jury has a new look, exit Denitsa Ikonomova and Jean-Paul Gaultier, and welcome to the newcomers, Bilal Hassani finalist of the previous season and the former star dancer Marie-Agnès Gillot. Fortunately our favorite dancer and choreographer, Chris Marques is still part of the jury.
But this is unfortunately not the case for some emblematic dancers of the show! While personalities such as Fauve Hautot and Christophe Licata have played a prominent role in the program for many years, other dancers have also been able to do well. This is why many viewers wondered about the absence of star dancers of Dance with the stars. The names of Christian Millette present since the third season or even Maxime Dereymez who had won season 2 with Shy’m, but also Samuel Texier, newcomer of the last season, are put forward. And it is the newcomer Pierre Mauduy who makes certain revelations as to the reasons for these absences.

It depends on the size according to the dancer
The new dancer of the program hired to dance with the singer Carla Lazzari launches into an explanation justifying the reasons for the production: “They try to do according to the personalities in the casting. The templates and the morphologies between the dancers and the stars must match”. Lack of luck, some dancers are therefore favored over others: “I do not hide it, I am not very tall, Sam is very tall, so necessarily a personality like Carla does not correspond to a dancer like him” .
Let’s hope that this newcomer manages to establish himself in the show as some of his predecessors did, such as Elsa Bois or the iconic Fauve Hautot, Christophe Licata or Anthony Colette.
