The third blind auditions of “The Voice” have reserved their share of surprises for Amel Bent! Indeed, Saturday March 11, 2023, during the program broadcast on TF1, the emblematic coach found a loved one. A reunion she hadn’t expected. In fact, she found out she knew the talent onstage after her performance was over. It was the latter who reminded him that they had already come a long way together. “Before leaving, I would like to say a few words to Amel because we shared a great adventure together on a show that revealed you. Charles, we did the adventure together.” he told her. “But wait, isn’t that you?” the singer wondered. “And if” assured Charles. “We were 17. But it’s not possible, unbelievable! We’ve aged guys! I remember you very well, it makes me so happy to see you.” then said Amel Bent after getting up to kiss him. “I’m super happy to see you and congratulations on your immense career.” he whispered in his ear.
Amel Bent moved by the story of the son of Charles, sick
As a reminder, Charles Cattaert indeed participated in season 2 of “La Nouvelle Star” with Amel Bent in 2004. He had left the competition at prime 6, two weeks before the elimination of Amel Bent at prime 8. t time, it was Steve Estatof who won the tele-hook. One thing is certain: their reunion was tinged with emotion. And for good reason ; by participating in “The Voice”, the father of the family came to defend the story of his sick son alongside his wife. “We are both here because we have a sick child. Lucien has been in his bubble since he was sick. He is 6 years old and has been sick since he was 3 years old. He is deaf and there was a chance on a billion that happens (…) It’s important for us to pass on this message because we founded an association called “The little bubble of Lulu”. Later in his life he will be able to see dad sing but s he doesn’t hear he can see mom sign.” Charles explained. Something to move the whole set. Unfortunately, the adventure stopped there for him.
Finally, note that this is not the first time that Amel Bent has found a loved one in “The Voice”. In March 2022, she had for example found Jérôme, a composer with whom she collaborates. He had also joined his team. Likewise, in February 2021, she had found Vanina, one of her choristers.
