A true jack of all trades, the 47-year-old presenter can talk about serious information as well as being in pure entertainment. On April 23, he will return to a show that he particularly likes: Secret Story. The kickoff of the 2024 edition will in fact be given after the unprecedented Koh Lanta. He will therefore have a very busy schedule between this show and his role as columnist of Good morning ! Although he is a “workaholic”, he does not forget his private life. When he is not on a television set, he spends quality time with his husband Ghislain and their son Valentin (4 years old). The truth about his meeting with Ghislain
It was in 2011 that Christophe Beaugrand and Ghislain met. If they had confided until now that their eyes had met during an evening with mutual friends, that is not the case. “It was long claimed that it was with mutual friends, but in reality it was on an application. Ten years ago, it had not yet become common practice, so it was more difficult to admit“, declared the charming brunette. But whatever the circumstances of their meeting, the most important thing is that it worked between them. And the 35-year-old programmer journalist arrived in his life at a time when he did not believe no longer in love, because of a painful breakup.
With Ghislain, Christophe Beaugrand realized his dream of becoming a father. A year after their union, they had the pleasure of welcoming their son Valentin. The couple had recourse to a surrogacy in Nevada (United States). A journey that they mentioned in their book Daddy’s boy(s) released in 2021 by Plon editions. Today, Whitney, the surrogate mother, is still part of their lives. “We wanted to keep a connection. Last year, she came to spend a week with us with her husband. She even went to the school fair. Valentin knows her and knows her story“, he clarified. So you will have understood, the presenter is a happy man.
