we know everything about the technical sheet of the smartphone before its release

OnePlus will soon renew its famous Nord range with a third generation of affordable smartphones: the OnePlus Nord 3. Just before its launch, all its technical characteristics are already known.

After a OnePlus Nord 2 released in the summer of 2021 and a OnePlus Nord 2T in 2022, the Chinese manufacturer is preparing to launch a brand new model in its affordable series in just a few months. We recently learned that the upcoming OnePlus Nord 3 will finally come with a 120Hz AMOLED display, and that’s exactly what a new report has just confirmed.

Indeed, the famous leaker OnLeaks has just shared in preview the entire technical sheet of the future smartphone from OnePlus. After using screens limited to 90Hz for several generations, the device will finally match the competition adopt a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

What technical characteristics for the OnePlus Nord 3?

According to OnLeaks, the OnePlus Nord 3 will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chip, which would make it one of the most powerful devices in its segment. The processor will be supported by 8 GB or 16 GB of RAMwhich is also not common, as well as by 128 GB or 256 GB of storage.

At the front, we will find a large 6.72-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz frequency. On the other hand, no LTPO technology on the program, as is the case on the recent OnePlus 11.

On the back, the OnePlus Nord 3 will rely on a three-camera photo configuration, with a 50 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultra wide-angle sensor as well as a third 2 MP macro sensor. We would have done without the macro sensor, but it seems that some Chinese brands are not yet ready to give it up. The selfie part is provided by a 32 MP camera housed in a punch.

Finally, it is especially at the level of the battery that we will have a lot of changes. This year, OnePlus will opt for a larger 5000 mAh battery, which should make it possible to increase the autonomy of the device. The good news is that we will always find 80W fast charging, but still no wireless charging. It remains to be seen when the smartphone will arrive with us.
