Samsung is not abandoning the market for laptop and intends to charm the public with its brand new Galaxy Book 3 Ultra.

If you missed it, the Galaxy Store recently fell victim to several major vulnerabilities. But because we prefer good news, let’s find out in more detail what Samsung’s future laptop PC has in store for us through new leaks (yes, for a change).

Galaxy Book: when Samsung wants to get back in the race

In the event that you have missed it, Samsung has been marketing portable PCs for a few years now. Well known for smartphones, tablets and connected watches, the Galaxy range intends to conquer the universe and take over all sectors of tech. However, it is clear that the firm is struggling a little more to attract laptops. The opportunity finally to reverse the trend with the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra?

A few days ago, we learned that Samsung would unveil the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra at the beginning of February, during its future Unpacked presentation. It is more precisely on February 1 next that the Korean giant gives us an appointment to learn more about the future of the brand, and, in this case, of its laptops.

Galaxy Book 3 Ultra: the ultimate Ultra?

Recently, the site teams XDA Developers shared some interesting information about the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra and its features. We first learn that the device would have a 16-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2880 x 1800p. As previous rumors wanted, it should obviously not weigh more than 1.8 kg and would measure only 17 mm. It would also carry a 76 Wh battery and support Dolby Atmos technology. Needless to say, it will be natively offered with Windows 11 as the operating system.

In terms of processor, it would be powered by a 13th generation Intel Core i9-13900H and would be available in several configurations. The most important of them would carry 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1 TB of NVMe PCIe Gen 4 storage. The GPU would be an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 with 8 GB of GDDR6 VRAM. What, no doubt, justify the mention “Ultra” in the name.

Be that as it may, the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra, of which we don’t yet know the price or the release date, will not be the only newborn in the family. Indeed, it will also host the Galaxy Book 3, the Galaxy Book 3 360, the Galaxy Book 3 Pro and finally the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360. A pretty, well-rounded family that will reveal all its secrets in a handful of days …
