A few days after the first estimates of the price of the ASUS ROG Ally on the American market, the German journalist Roland Quandt returns to the charge with this time a European price for the best equipped version of the portable console.

We were talking to you last week about the supposed (but very likely) price of the ROG Ally in the United States, here we are this week with a fairly precise idea of how much the ASUS console could be worth on the Old Continent.

The Steam Deck worried?

The information comes to us once again from Rolland Quandt, journalist for the German specialized site WinFuture. The interested party was able to find the price of the ROG Ally equipped with an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme chip, but also 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. This configuration of the console, the most upscale, would be marketed at 799 euros in Europe.

As a reminder, the journalist had mentioned a price of 700 dollars for this same model across the Atlantic, or just over 635 euros. United States obliges, this price would nevertheless be displayed excluding taxes. With taxes, reaching the 799 euro mark in our latitudes seems consistent. This price placement is also logical since the best equipped version of the Steam Deck, less efficient than the ASUS ROG Ally, costs 679 euros in France.

A price (logically) made official on May 11

Note that this price would only concern the best-equipped model of the ROG Ally. The ASUS console should also be available in another version, slower but also more accessible, equipped with a classic AMD Z1 SoC and not “Extreme”.

It is unknown at this stage what price will be adopted for this particular model, but we should soon be fixed. ASUS must indeed hold an event dedicated to its ROG Ally on May 11. The brand will normally announce the price of its console and the different versions expected.
