Sacred day for Redmi! After the french exit
and the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G review
this morning, the Chinese manufacturer tells us more about the global availability of the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 11S 5G and even a certain Redmi 10 5G.

A decidedly bloated range this year which, as usual, is launched at different intervals on the different markets.

Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G: the ultimate

Anxious to offer its customers the best possible smartphone (along with the one with the most unpronounceable name), Redmi unveils the Note 11 Pro+ 5G.

This large phone with a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display offers a spec sheet very similar to the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. The difference is at two levels in particular: the SoC, and the charging power.

Here we swap the Snapdragon 695 for a Dimensity 920. Two chips with extremely similar characteristics, but with a small advantage for the latter in terms of clock speed (2.5 GHz against 2.2 GHz).

The charging power also goes from 67 to 120 W, as on the Xiaomi 12 Pro or the Xiaomi 11T Pro. Be careful, the battery is of lesser capacity nevertheless. From 5000 mAh on the Note 11 Pro 5G, we go to 4500 mAh on the Pro+ model.

For the rest, we will find the trio of 108 + 8 + 2 megapixel cameras, the duo of speakers and a jack. The phone is IP53 certified against dust and splashes, and will offer 3 years of updates, including 2 Android upgrades.

Redmi Note 11S 5G: the right compromise?

You guessed it, this new model is the 5G counterpart of the already available Redmi Note 11S.

Several differences are notable. The screen gets bigger (6.6 inches), but swaps its AMOLED panel for an LCD. However, we remain at 90 Hz.

On the processor side, the fineness of engraving increases as well as the execution speed. Engraved in 6nm, the Dimensity 810 offers good overall performance and 5G compatibility to the device.

The 108-megapixel wide-angle module of the Note 11S also gives way to a 50-megapixel sensor whose technical characteristics are unknown (which is rarely a good sign). An 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and a 2-megapixel macro module complete the photo configuration.

Equipped with a 5000 mAh battery, the smartphone is rechargeable at 33 W. It features two speakers and a jack. The phone is dust and splash resistant and will get 3 years of Android security updates.

Redmi 10 5G: the most affordable of the lot

We take a step aside from the Redmi Note range to approach a new entry-level model: the Redmi 10 5G.

Offered at a rock-bottom price, this 6.58″ smartphone (LCD, 90 Hz) benefits from a 5G-compatible Dimensity 700 SoC.

It features a 50-megapixel main camera (presumably the same as the Note 11S 5G) and a dedicated depth-of-field module.

Its 5,000 mAh battery is rechargeable at 18 W, but the charger provided in the box will exceed this capacity (22.5 W).

More modest, the smartphone is not protected against dust and splashes. However, the jack is still present.

Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 11S 5G, Redmi 10 5G: prices and availability

As announced above, Xiaomi was busy today detailing the international release of its new smartphones. We are used to it: it will still be necessary to wait a few days or weeks to have the details of availability and prices in France.

However, here is for reference at what prices the new Redmi models will be launched:

  • Redmi 10 5G: $199 (4+64GB); $229 (4+128 GB)
  • Redmi Note 11S 5G: $249 (4+64GB); $279 (4+128GB); $299 (6+128 GB)
  • Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G: $369 (6+128GB); $399 (8+128 GB); $449 (8+256GB)
