The head of connected objects at Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Ring will be launched in the second half of 2024.
Since announcing the Galaxy Ring in the middle of January, Samsung has been rather discreet about its first connected ring. The Korean manufacturer simply announced that it was working on this new format for monitoring activity and health well-being, without further information regarding the price, characteristics or release date. of the Samsung Galaxy Ring.
Until now, we had to be content with rumors which envisaged a release date during the second half of 2024 to imagine a release window. However, as reported by the Sam Mobile site, one of the Samsung executives in charge of connected objects finally gave some information on the social network LinkedIn.
In a publication posted online last week, Daniel Seung Lee indicates:
A new health and wellness device for the second half of the year.
Accompanying his message, he reshares the video of the Samsung Galaxy Ring, which no longer leaves any mystery as to the device in question.
A detailed presentation expected this summer
As could already be expected, this message seems to corroborate the idea of a more precise presentation of the Galaxy Ring during the next Galaxy Unpacked conference which should take place during the summer. It is therefore certainly on the occasion of the launch of the future Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Watch 7 that Samsung will finally give more details on its connected health ring which will compete with the Oura Ring 3.
For the moment, Samsung has provided little information about its Galaxy Ring, simply indicating that it will track health data such as heart rate, blood oxygen saturation or sleep. of the user. We will therefore have to wait a few more months to find out more.
