April does what he wants? Nope, whatever we want. And try out a lot of new beauty products. Our BRIGITTE editorial team looked around the beauty market and subjected four products to internal testing. From Botox to combat sweating to a relaxing pampering bath – that was convincing…
It’s not just the look out of the window that confirms to us: the beautiful seasons are approaching. Time to turn your handbag and your bathroom inside out and swap your winter tools for spring and summer beauty essentials. These four new products were allowed to move in with us for testing.

Product: “Rose-tender pampering care” from Kneipp

Promise: A smooth skin feeling that meets well-groomed skin. The cream bath does not have a damaging effect, but rather preserves the skin’s own microbiome.
Effect: Organic rose petals and a nourishing oil complex made from argan, almond and jojoba oil work wonders here and turn every bath into a nourishing spa experience at home.

Promise: The foaming vegan formula is designed to gently take care of ingrown hairs, irritations and small bumps, making shaving a breeze from now on. And razor bumps are quickly forgotten.
Effect: The peeling feels pleasantly light on the skin and can be easily lathered up and distributed very easily. The formulation of mechanical and chemical peeling substances also ensures that my skin is not irritated at all and feels completely smooth.
This is what makes it my beauty hero: The scent, the feeling after showering and shaving… Thanks to the peeling, my skin not only feels even smoother after shaving, but also feels completely cared for. I put aside irritated skin after the shower.

Price: Always results from the number of units required
Promise: The sweat glands, for example in the armpit area, are blocked to reduce excessive sweating. Botox inhibits the transmission of impulses from the nerve fibers to the sweat glands. The injection treatment causes less sweat to form.
Effect: The full effect occurs after about two weeks. But even after just under a week I notice a change. The effect lasts eight to twelve months. Depending on how quickly your body breaks down the injected Botox. What is very important: The treatment maintains the sweating that is necessary and natural for the body, only the extent of it disappears.
This is what makes it my beauty hero: I love wearing colored dresses in the summer and this year I don’t have to worry about unwanted sweat stains. Of course, there are different ways to deal with this topic, so be sure to seek advice and make a decision that suits you best.
