And haven’t let them go since then… Four colleagues reveal what they think of tinted lip balm, perfume, brow gel and eye cream.
Let’s not kid ourselves: Even if a lot of things end up on our beauty editor’s desk, new things always have their appeal. Which products did we have our eye on in February? Shiny lip balm, eyebrow wax with color and an eye serum. And that’s why they won’t be leaving our beauty shelf any time soon…

Product: Melt & Shine Juicy Lip Balm by Catrice
Price: about 5 euros
Promise: Glossy lips and care in one! The delicately melting lip balm is intended to naturally provide a glossy effect and fuller-looking lips, while vegan ingredients care for the lips.
Effect: I had to struggle with the click mechanism for a moment, but then the product took me by storm. The color payoff is very delicate and natural, but the finish is even shinier. I was immediately taken with the slightly darker tone “Sea-cret” and provides the perfect everyday lip with care included.
This is why the product convinced me: The application is super easy and works even without a mirror. The color is also very natural and my lips always look juicy to eat. There’s no better way to start spring, right?

Product: Jean Paul Gaultier “Gaultier Divine”
Price: From around 76 euros for 30 ml
Promise: “Gaultier Divine” by Jean Paul Gaultier is an eau de parfum designed to celebrate the divine strength of femininity. The gourmand scent promises to combine salty notes, lily and meringue into a multifaceted experience.
Effect: Lilies are my favorite flowers for good reason. The scent immediately awakens spring feelings in me! It is long-lasting and uniquely floral. In addition, a fine cloud of scent surrounds me all day long, which I actually get asked about on a regular basis.
This is why the product convinced me: In addition to a pleasant smell, what is particularly important to me with a perfume is that it lasts through a sweaty night or a long day at work. The Gaultier Divine fragrance definitely meets these criteria, so I can fully recommend it.

Product: Precisely, My Brow Wax from Benefit
Price: 30 euro
Promise: Highly pigmented, shaping eyebrow wax. Dual sided brush for clean, precise application.
Effect: You brush the product into your brows, shape it and thicken it in one step.
This is why the product convinced me: I LOVE the texture of the product. While other eyebrow gels often take a long time to dry so that you can actually shape the hairs, the Benefit Precisley, My Brow Wax is there immediately. This saves a huge amount of time and nerves! I also have to say that I’m really a fan of the pigmentation. With other products I often had the problem that you had no control and ended up with paint smeared everywhere. That really doesn’t happen here, which is why it’s ideal for beginners or actually anyone with a heart for beautiful eyebrows. Durability is also great – once it’s dry, nothing will slip!

Product: Waso Yuzu-C Eye Awakening Essence by Shiseido
Price: about 32 euros
Promise: Goodbye dark circles and puffiness! The tired-looking companions should be reduced by the cream and the eye area should appear more awake and radiant.
Effect: The cooling eye care was inspired by fresh yuzu jam.Paired with vitamin C, it has a targeted effectagainst dark circles and puffiness. The result is that the sensitive eye area is optimally hydrated and feels completely revitalized after a small pump.
This is why the product convinced me: I love it when a cream interacts with the skin and is so soft and delicate that you can literally feel the skin absorbing the product. Even a small amount is enough to give the eye area a wake-up kick. Paired with an ice-cold spoon from the fridge that you put over your eyes beforehand, this combination is unbeatable. Do I need to say anything else about the invigorating lemon scent?
