But this morning, a new statement was released on this subject: "Wearing a mask will not be required for the people exercising a physical activity for running or cycling " can we read. Note that the prefecture specifies that children under 11 are not required.

Emmanuel Grégoire, deputy mayor of Paris, explained: "We are opposed to wearing a mask on a bicycle because there is no scientific evidence that it is dangerous and, above all, is very counterproductive. Take the bike to try to relieve congestion on public transport. And, at the same time, they are asked to wear a mask which is particularly uncomfortable.
