Weather: clouds and rain persist

SAccording to Météo-France forecasts, the weather for this Thursday, April 14 will be substantially similar to that which has prevailed since the start of the week. Overall, the sky will remain cloudy in a large part of the country. From the start of the day, light rain will settle in the Grand Est, and as far as New Aquitaine. Over a very large area stretching from Brittany to the Belgian border, and as far as Pays de la Loire, the sky will be gray and the clouds will be low, often accompanied by fog. A greyness that will sometimes last until the end of the morning.

If the weather remains gloomy on the English Channel and the oceanic edge all day, things should however improve from midday elsewhere. Inland, the sky will become more changeable, alternating between sunny spells and cloudy periods. But on the relief of the Vosges, the Jura, the Massif Central and the Pyrenees, the clouds will tend to develop, until they become threatening. They will end up giving showers, sometimes thunderstorms, especially from the Vosges to the Jura and the Massif Central. On the other hand, in the plains, the sunny periods will be more and more lasting throughout the afternoon. The Mediterranean rim will keep rather sunny weather despite a cloudy sky, especially in Corsica.
