Metéo-France announces a fairly cloudy Thursday, March 2 on the whole, as well as new rains in Corsica. The weather will remain disturbed there with many showers which will circulate on the eastern facade. These may be accompanied by thunderclaps. Snow will fall from 1,000 meters on the relief. Showers will manage to overflow on the coasts of Provence, as well as on the alpine ridges where a few flakes will fall.
From the South-West to Alsace via the Pays de Loire and the Centre, the clouds will be numerous. Light snowfall will be expected over the Pyrenees and Auvergne at low altitude. The heights of Tarn and Aveyron may be temporarily cleared. From Brittany to the Ardennes and the Centre-East, the day will take place under variable skies. The clouds will give a few drops in the morning on the tip of Brittany. Beautiful clearings will develop from Normandy to the North.
Positive minimums in the south
On the wind side, the Tramontane will blow in gusts between 60/80 km/h. The northeast wind will be sensitive over Corsica and close to the Channel coasts.
In the morning, there will be frosts throughout the country with -5 to -1°C. The minimums will be positive near the Mediterranean with 1 to 6°C. The maximum will be between 7 and 11 ° C, 10 to 15 ° C in the Southeast.
