Weather: overcast and rainy in the west, cloudy in the east

These precipitations will be a little more marked on the south of the zone. Clearings but also showers, locally stormy towards the Gironde and the Landes will approach the coastal fringe of Aquitaine.

Further east, the sky will be covered with high clouds, less and less dense towards the Jura and the Alps. From Roussillon to Languedoc, from the Camargue to the Cévennes, the sky will always remain low and grey. Wednesday afternoon, the rains will affect Cotentin, Brittany, Pays de la Loire, the Center region, Auvergne, Languedoc-Roussillon. It will snow on the Massif Central from 1,400 m, from 1,600 m on the east of the Pyrenees.

Falling temperatures

Clearings but also cloudy periods accompanied by locally stormy showers will settle in Poitou-Charentes, Limousin, Aquitaine and Midi-Pyrénées. The sky will remain veiled with thick high clouds from the north of the Seine towards the Grand Est, on the east of the Rhône towards the Mediterranean and Corsica.

On the thermometer side, the minimums will be between 0 and – 3 degrees on the eastern half of the country, between 3 and 8 in the West, up to 10 degrees on the Atlantic coast. The maximums are around 13 to 15 in the southwestern quarter of the country, 9 to 12 in the rest of the country.
