Weather: this Sunday, unstable weather over most of the country

Ihe weather will remain unstable, this Sunday, May 7, with rain in most of the country and stormy residue, especially in the afternoon, forecasts Météo-France.

Showers will be quite frequent from the morning, sometimes still stormy, from the interior of Occitania to the Massif Central and the northeast quarter of the country. They will be rarer from the Moselle to the Bas-Rhin, and from the Mediterranean coast to the Alps.

Corsica will be rather spared, with wider clearings despite some low clouds on the coasts.

In the West, the clouds will dominate, but the showers will be much more scattered. Some fogs and mists will be present in the early morning from Brittany to Cotentin.

The weather will be unstable in the afternoon: showers will become frequent and sometimes stormy over a large eastern half. The rain will temporarily overflow to the Mediterranean coast, in particular Roussillon and the Camargue, with some local showers on the Corsican relief.

Temperatures higher than normal for the season

Only the coastal regions of the English Channel and the Atlantic will be sheltered. The clearings will be shorter in the northern half.

Minimum temperatures will show 10 to 15 degrees in general. As for the maximum, down more markedly in the Southwest, they will be around 16 to 22 degrees in the northern half, 19 to 25 in the southern half, while remaining slightly above normal for the season.
