For the whole of the 2022 financial year, the Wedia group – SaaS solution and consulting for marketing players – achieved consolidated revenue of €18.0 million,

up 15%

compared to the 2021 financial year (€15.7 million).

The breakdown of income by type is as follows:

  • The

    SaaS revenues are growing 34%

    compared to the 2021 financial year. These revenues, in line with the Group’s ambitions, have been growing continuously for many years (20% per year on average over 2017-2022) and now represent 65% of revenue, in line with the target of 70% by 2024;

  • As anticipated, the Group’s Services activity (consulting, configuration, change management) is down 9% compared to the 2021 financial year, as a result of a demanding base effect following an excellent start to the year in 2021;

  • The

    share of international

    now represents

    33% of turnover

    compared to 27% for the previous financial year, of which 17% outside the EU.

As a reminder, during this financial year, the Wedia group announced the acquisition of 100% of the capital of “Iconosquare” (Social Media Management SaaS solution), which has been consolidated since 1

er

May 2022 and contributed more than €3 million to revenue for the year.

Growth dynamics

The Group, which has recorded double-digit annual growth since 2017, is confident, despite the uncertain economic context, in its ability to continue its development, for various reasons:

  • After more than two years of postponed projects due to the pandemic, the marketing and communication teams must modernize their software solutions, many projects have therefore been announced for 2023;

  • In a context of declining advertising budgets, brands are refocusing on their own content, “organic” content, the playground of the Group’s solutions;

  • The merger with Iconosquare allows the Wedia group to enter the world of social networks and to take a position on subjects in the emergence phase (“user generated content”, NFT, Web3, etc.)

  • Finally, the explosion of generative artificial intelligence applied to text, images and video promises to revolutionize the business of the Group’s customers, who have already integrated AI components (ChatGPT for text, StableDiffusion for images) in its solutions and on its wedia.ai demonstrator.

0confirmed growth objective

The investments made as well as the complementarities of the various Group companies will therefore enable continued growth in 2023.

A player recognized for its role as a consolidator of a market that is still very fragmented and whose positioning and offer are fully in line with the digital transformation of marketing and commerce, Wedia confirms the objective set in January 2020 of joining the Top 5 players in the global market and achieve a turnover of €30 million by 2024.
