Highly anticipated, Tim Burton’s Netflix series, “Wednesday”, is revealed a little more with a new trailer. On the program: monsters, an investigation, Uncle Fetid and… the return of Christina Ricci.

For his first collaboration with the Netflix platform, Tim Burton immerses himself in the world of Wednesday, the famous daughter of the Addams family. In this 8-episode series, the morbid teenager joins Nevermore Academy, a prestigious school for students with different and extraordinary abilities.

As soon as he arrives, a succession of murders upsets the tranquility of the neighboring town. For Wednesday, it’s an opportunity to investigate and uncover dark secrets.

Halfway between horror and comedy, the series reinvents the character of Charles Addams as a tough heroine. The new trailer, unveiled this Sunday, October 9, reveals a few surprises, the first being the actor who plays Uncle Fetid.

Fred Armisen plays the role. The actor, very famous in the United States, is particularly known for having been one of the leading comedians of the show Saturday Night Live.

The other surprise of this trailer is of course Christina Ricci. The actress, who played Wednesday Addams in the two Barry Sonnenfeld films, had already been announced for the casting of the series. Now her character is revealed: she is Marilyn Thornhill, teacher and supervisor of dormitories at Nevermore Academy.

For information, it is Jenna Ortega (Scream) who succeeds him in the guise of Wednesday Addams. Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzman play the parents, Morticia and Gomez Addams. In the role of the school principal, we also find Gwendoline Christie (Star Wars, Game of Thrones).
