Weekend or school holidays: don't take the road! : Current Woman Le MAG

The vast majority of French people respect confinement. After a bit of a difficult start, almost everyone finally admitted their need and accepted the test – very difficult for some, especially the most disadvantaged. But we also saw, just before the great confinement was effective, hundreds of thousands of city dwellers flee to their second home, mainly from the Paris region towards the province, contributing by their irresponsibility to spread the epidemic a little more.

As the Easter holidays approach (the school holidays begin this Friday for zone C, ie Île-de-France and Occitania), the public authorities fear that some, unable to to be enclosed between four walls, take advantage of the period to go on vacation as if nothing had happened.

Let’s say it again: it’s unthinkable and totally prohibited. You are not a priori affected by the school holidays but if your children or people around you have decided to fill the trunk of the car, bring up the kids and the dog and cut the road, dissuade them !

Firstly because they would risk spreading the epidemic a little more and, if the argument does not convince them, they would be exposed to the famous fine of 135 € (which can be increased in the event of recurrence ). Interior Minister Christophe Castaner adopted a firm speech addressing this question: "We do not go on vacation during the confinement period. As of Friday, there will be very strict controls on departures from major cities to avoid that "There is, as if nothing had happened, flows of holidaymakers. Any abuse will be punished".

It’s just a matter of common sense and good citizenship.
