Another major operation in Vienna: According to initial information, shots were reported – the police are currently moving in with a large contingent.
The scene of the incident is apparently the Apostelgasse/Baumgasse intersection in the third district (an initial report mistakenly referred to Favoriten again). Witnesses heard “bangs”, the police assume it was a “shooting”. WEGA, Cobra and an armored vehicle have been dispatched. Additional units are to be brought in from other districts.
