Ex-FC Bayern professional ends eternal Werder curse

Former Bayern and Bayer professional Mitchell Weiser becomes the decisive man in Werder’s sensational victory in Munich – Bremen won there for the first time in 15 years. The dream goal comes as no surprise to his coach. But the future of the difference player is unclear.

Last spring, the former German U21 selection player, who headed Germany to the U21 European Championship triumph against Spain in 2017, examined the option of playing for Algeria, but that has not yet happened. With performances like the one in Munich, the long-running runner could possibly open other doors.
