The "Welcome to Carmen Nebel" final was "the most beautiful show of my life" for the hostess. These surprise guests were there.

Carmen Nebel (64) presented her show "Willkommen bei Carmen Nebel" live from Berlin for the last time on Saturday evening. To celebrate almost 18 years of broadcasting and over 80 episodes of the Saturday evening gala, top-class invited guests and a few surprise stars came. In the final of the show, Howard Carpendale, Roland Kaiser, Marianne Rosenberg, Andreas Gabalier, Beatrice Egli, Andy Borg and Maite Kelly were among others.

Johannes B. Kerner (56) was also a guest in the last edition of "Willkommen bei Carmen Nebel". Among other things, he was allowed to present a surprise appearance by Katarina Witt (55). And the former figure skater brought another surprise for Carmen Nebel: the group Karat, who performed their hit "You have to go over seven bridges". But not only goodbye tears rolled down on the show, Carmen Nebel also came to tears with laughter when comedian Matze Knop (46) appeared as her double and played her sister.

Andrea Berg surprises Carmen Nebel

Andrea Berg (55) gave the hostess another great pleasure. After Carmen Nebel had initially stated that the singer had canceled her farewell show "for family reasons", the pop star appeared at the end: "You probably don't believe that I'm not coming," Berg explained. At the end of the day, Carmen Nebel was enthusiastic about her final show, in which Zucchero (65) also performed: "It was the most beautiful show of my life. I am very touched, I did not expect that." She also added: "I'm not saying goodbye forever today. We're celebrating Christmas together."

The fans can look forward to the Christmas shows with Carmen Nebel this year and the next two. ZDF has prematurely extended the contract with the popular presenter until the end of 2023.
