If some teachers already know that they will be back for the new season, an emblematic figure of the program is hesitant…
While the students of the Star Academy still crisscrossing France for their exceptional tour, the production of the show is already working on the twelfth season of the program.
“The signing of contracts ends at the end of May”
The choice of teachers will also be made within a few weeks. Cécile Chaduteau, Adeline Toniutti, Lucie Bernardoni but also Michaël Goldman should certainly return to the Château de Dammarie-les-Lys next October. Which is absolutely not the case for their colleague Malika Benjelloun, a dance teacher who took her first steps at the Star Ac just a few months ago. Interviewed by our colleagues from Ciné Télé Revue, the dancer left doubts lingering: “The contracts are signed at the end of May, so… we’ll see!” she assured.

Surprising comments when we know to what extent Malika Benjelloun won the hearts of her students the previous season. Lénie, Pierre, Candice but also Victorien and Djebril all praised his benevolent character during our interviews. “I would really like to thank her because I thought every dance class was going to be an ordeal for me and she made me appreciate it. So no, I’m not going to start choreographing in my living room, but I’m a lot more comfortable with my body”, Victorien told us just after his elimination, on December 11, 2023.
Will the different testimonies from her former students make Malika think? Kamel Ouali, historical professor of Star Ac, could he possibly make his comeback if she refuses to participate in season 12 of the show? Response in a few weeks…
