(CercleFinance.com) – Wendel announces the signing of an agreement, jointly with the company Colibri, for the acquisition of the financial services segment of Adtalem Global Education. In this context, it will acquire ACAMS, valued at around 500 million dollars.
The group will invest up to approximately 355 million dollars in equity and will hold approximately 99% of the capital. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2022, subject to customary conditions and regulatory clearances.
A company specializing in training and certification for the fight against money laundering and the prevention of financial crime, ACAMS has developed an extensive global network of more than 90,000 members in 175 countries.
