(CercleFinance.com) – Wendel today announced the creation of its endowment fund, called Wendel Cares.
Wendel wishes to bring together all its sponsorship actions within a dedicated structure and to extend its fields of action to other themes in line with the societal challenges of our time.
Wendel Cares aims to finance structures or associations active in one of the five areas in which it has chosen to commit.
Wendel Cares will continue its ‘historic’ sponsorship actions by supporting culture – with the Center Pompidou-Metz, education – through the partnership with Insead and three new pillars have now been added: equality opportunities and professional integration and medical research and health.
Since 2010, Wendel has supported some twenty associations for a cumulative total amount of more than €5 million.
