With an ever smaller footprint and ever larger (and faster) storage space, the external hard drive has become an essential companion in our daily lives, just like our smartphone or our computer.

On the Western Digital side, we are obviously fully aware of this incessant need for larger capacity storage solutions, particularly among gamers and professionals. This is why the company has just formalized a new version of its 2.5-inch nomadic hard drives, increasing up to 6 TB.

On a purely technical level and despite the use of plastics for the case, Western Digital has created a product of excellent quality, efficient, compact and very practical for daily use. Unfortunately, without bringing any real innovation, it allows itself a price positioning significantly above the average.
