What a sound! – Ferrari 812 Competizione: Ultra version of the V12

Twelve-cylinder engine with 830 hp
The performance is breathtaking: the sprint to 100 km / h takes 2.85 seconds, and 200 km / h is reached after a total of 7.5 seconds. The top speed is given as “over 340 km / h”. As with the normal 812, a 6.5-liter V12 naturally aspirated engine provides propulsion, but the output has been increased from 800 hp to 830 hp and the speed limit from 8500 to 9500 rpm. The maximum torque is 692 Nm at 7000 rpm. The power and speed plus was achieved by redesigning the most important engine components such as connecting rods, pistons and crankshaft. The titanium connecting rods are 40 percent lighter than the steel versions with the same mechanical strength; the piston pins, in turn, were given a diamond-like carbon coating (DLC) to reduce the coefficient of friction. There is also a newly balanced crankshaft, which is also 3 percent lighter than the standard version.
